INSIDER APP: Thursday, February 4th  is the San Juan Island Insider App Update meeting – 4-5:30pm at the Lopez Island Library - meeting room, 2225 Fisherman Bay Road, Lopez Village. Community conversation with Lopez Chamber about Insider App.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING: Lopez Chamber’s next General Membership meeting will be at the Galley at 8:30am on Thursday February 11th. Social time 8:30am, meeting starts at 9am. Timothy Fry will be a special guest speaker and will be discussing the new San Juan Islands Insider App. Come and learn how your business can be involved! There will be refreshments, and the Galley welcomes your breakfast order!

These films have been made by Greenhorns, an innovative grassroots organization helping young farmers to build a thriving agricultural economy. Lane Langford and Friends: Warmth in the Heart of Winter V7:30pm, Lopez Center for Community and the Arts (LCCA), 204 Village Road, Lopez Village,  This is the fifth year that Lane Langford and Friends have performed this Benefit Concert for both the Lopez Island Family Resource Center and the Lopez Children's Center. He is so proud to do this event, combining the talents and love of so many wonderful musicians. Keynote speakers for 2016 will include Courtney White, author of Soil, Grass, Hope: A Journey Through Carbon Country, and Two Percent Solutions for the Planet. White offers positive solutions for farmers to "regenerate the planet now, rather than in some distant future." Registration will begin in January 2016.
