Need Volunteers for Village Lighting in November:

It is almost that time of year again!  November 28 is the scheduled Village Lighting which in the past has been entirely hosted by the Lopez Island Chamber.

This year we are soliciting several kinds of assistance to assure this event will be a success.

We will be holding a meeting to discuss plans and location for this year's event and we hope to have someone volunteer to coordinate the decorating of the Village Park and the Ferry landing.  This meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 4 at the Chamber office at 11 am.  (If the weather is good, maybe we can meet at the Village Park.)  We need your help!

If you can't help with man-power then maybe you can help with funding. We need to purchase replacement lighting so any financial support would be much appreciated.  Each year we need to replace some light strands and this year we will need some additional lighting for the Ferry landing since there have been some significant changes in the configuration of the buildings and walkway. Any amount of donation will be appreciated - checks can be sent to the Lopez Island Chamber, PO Box 102, Lopez Island, WA 98261.

Please consider volunteering to help and/or donating for this event.

Thank you in advance, Your Chamber Board
