ANNOUNCEMENTS

FYI, you can look on this website under "Calendar" to see what else is happening on Lopez!  Check it out!

Tour De Lopez Registration is underway. Register online through our website, or print and mail the forms with your check. The event will be Saturday, April 26th this year, 2014. We are again capping ridership at 900, so register early. Go to Tour De Lopez.

The Lopez Island Vineyards' Tasting Room is now open on Saturdays from 12 noon until 5pm.

Volunteers are needed for Tour de Lopez, both on Friday evening and Saturday, during the event.  Please contact the Chamber office if you would like to help out.  The event is great fun to work, and we have found over the years that the participants are a wonderful group of people.

Bids are being solicited by the Chamber for two "Welcome to Lopez Village" signs.  The sign will need to be less than 15 square feet with no height restriction.  Posts are required to be 4x4.  We will need to apply for a "Right of Way" permit and call for a utility locate inspection once we have a design to provide to the County.  We have a sketch to show bidders, however it is not to scale and not professionally done.  Please respond via e-mail, phone or come by and visit us at the Chamber office.

Our Village Park restroom building has had major renovations.  Both restrooms have new sinks and toilets.  The second shower is now installed and both shower floors are new. Check it out!

Canoe Island between Lopez and Shaw islands is home to Canoe Island French Camp. Summer sessions for ages 9-16 begin on June 22 and run through August 28. No language prerequisite. Registration open now! www.CanoeIsland.org
