VILLAGE LIGHTING 2014

We need volunteers to help decorate Village Park and the ferry landing!  

There will be a Village Lighting Work Party  on Saturday, November 22, from 11am-2pm. Please volunteer your time!  We will meet in the Park at 11am.  Dress warm and bring gloves! Hot chocolate and treats for those who help. 

If you can't help physically, financial ($$) assistance is always welcome to help purchase lights! You can send checks to the Chamber.

The annual Lopez Village Lighting will be on Friday, November 28, this year at a new location, the Carpenter Plaza parking lot adjacent to Village Park.  Join us for this holiday tradition.  Santa will be on the deck, there will be hot chocolate and cookies, caroling and music, and many of the stores will be open late.  Volunteers are needed to bake cookie and serve refreshments at the Lighting.  If you can give of your time, please contact the Chamber office at (360) 468-4664 or email us at lopezchamber@lopezisland.com.  See you there, and to those who can volunteer, thank you for your support!

Mark your calendars for Friday Nov. 28th 4:30-6pm for this Island tradition. Lights will go on at 5:15pm. There will be treats available, a bonfire, and caroling to bring in the holiday season. Come join us!

Business owners – we have some volunteers who will assist in putting your lights up on your building – please contact the Chamber (you supply the lights).

Chimera Gallery Group Show, Raffle & Auction10-am-3pm, Chimera Gallery, Lopez Village Plaza, Lopez Village, Group Show and annual Silent Auction, plus art raffle to support the Lopez High School art program.  Silent Auction ends Friday, December 12; raffle winners picked at Chimera's holiday party Saturday, December 13. Lopez Union Cemetery Wreath and Craft Sale10am-2pm, Center Church Cemetery Workshop, 312 Davis Bay Road.

Lopez Preschool Holiday Bazaar10am-3pm, Lopez School Gymnasium, 86 School Road.  An annual event, with over 70 artists, crafters and other vendors, a bake sale, children's corner, music, entertainment and many great raffle prizes.  Have a holiday keepsake picture taken.
