Paper Scissors on the Rock has opened in their new location in the old Lopez Village Market building between Island Body and Fitness and the new Village Cycles. Come and see the new merchandise and fabulous newly remodeled store! Our NEW HOURS are Mon. – Sat. 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, and Sun. 10 am -4 pm. Open seven days a week!

The Just Heavenly Fudge Factory  in the Village has expanded and opened their new Ice Cream Parlor!!! Our NEW HOURS are 10:00 am to 6:30 pm seven days a week! Come and see all of the wonderful new changes!

Village Cycles has opened in their new location next door to Paper Scissors on the Rock in the old Lopez Village Market Building. Come see our great new shop and check out our merchandise and awesome bicycles! Our hours are Mon. – Fri. 10 am -5 pm, and Sat. and Sun. 10 am – 4 pm. We are open seven days a week!

Lopez Island Reality has opened in their new location in the Lopez Village Plaza Building between the Barber in the Ville and the Lopez Bookshop. We are open Tues. – Sat. 9 am – 5 pm. Come by and pick up a free catalogue of all listed Lopez properties!

Vacasa Vacation Rentals Scholarship. Attached for your convenience is information about a scholarship that one of our newer members, Vacasa Vacation Rentals, is offering to Lopez and Orcas Island students.  Applications are being accepted through July 25th. Download here.

Service Directory only members, a reminder that your renewal fee of $50 is due by June 30th.  You received a renewal form by email on May 23rd.  If you have any changes in your contact info, please put it on that form and mail it to our office or drop it off.  There is a mail slot in the door for your convenience.

Twelfth Night in the Winery Garden 8:15pm, Lopez Island Vineyards Winery Garden, 724 Fisherman Bay Road,  Island Stage Left returns to the Lopez Island Winery's garden with the performance of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. These shows sell out, so we recommend getting your tickets early. (Available at the Winery's Tasting Room & Paper Scissors Rock). Suggested donation $15.

Lopez Island Farmers Market 10am-2pm, Lopez Island Farmer's Market, next to the Community Center on Village Road North, Lopez Village.  Island-grown produce: salad greens, vegetables, garlic, plus flowers and fruit in season. Island-produced food products; jams, fresh fudge, chutneys, pickles, seafood, natural grass-fed meats, etc. plus a wide variety of art and craft items: jewelry, soaps, healing oils & salves, glass art, textiles, art prints, photography, furniture, metal works, all by local farmers and artisans. 37th Annual Teddy Bear Picnic 11am, Lopez Island Library, Corner of Fisherman Bay Rd & Hummel Lake Rd, Lopez Village,  Children of any age...Come to the Lopez Library's orchard for song and merriment. Bring a teddy bear, or other stuffed friend. Lemonade and fruit will be provided; you are welcome to bring a picnic lunch. Canzoni: Poetry in Italian Songs and Melodies, BEPPE GAMBETTA Acoustic Guitarist 7:30pm, Lopez Center for Community and the Arts (LCCA), 204 Village Road, Lopez Village,  The concert is focused on the rich repertoire of Italian traditional and popular songs and on the re-discovery and re-arrangement of the work of some iconic Italian "cantautori" (singer-songwriters). Beppe will sing in different regional dialects and add some Italian melodies to his arrangements. The evening will be an intriguing journey through passionate melody, poetry and guitar. You Are Making History Picnic 11am-4pm, Lopez Island Museum, Lopez Village Park, 28 Washburn Place, Lopez Village,  The Lopez Island Historical Society is hosting a community picnic. You bring blankets and your picnic lunch, we'll provide the entertainment. In addition to a great afternoon of music produced by Bill Johnson, we'll have activities for the kids and storytelling for both kids and adults. The museum's west wall will feature the beginning of a new exhibit. The You Are Making History Timeline will provide a chance for you to reserve your place in Lopez Island history.
