WA STATE FERRIES/Community Input on WSF Reservations:  John Whetten, Lopez Island's representative on our local Ferry Advisory Committee has scheduled a public meeting at the Lopez Center on May 19th  from 4-6 p.m. to give Lopezians an opportunity to comment and ask questions about ferry reservations. Representatives from WSF have promised to attend.

VACASA RENTALS: Vacasa is hiring on Lopez Island! We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team as we manage local vacation rentals. NIKYTA PALMISANI WITH LSWDD: nikytap@lopezsolidwaste.org , wants to extend the offer to help Chamber members to reduce their waste costs and improve recycling efforts. She is  available to do consulting for  businesses free of charge, to review their current waste (garbage) bill and help strategize and organize spaces to increase recycling efforts.  This is a free service.  LSWDD is offering this as part of the grant that they are working on for the Department of the Environment with the goal of reducing waste Island wide in both households and businesses.

1660 Winds of the Renaissance7pm, Grace Episcopal Church, 70 Sunset Lane off of Fisherman Bay Road, Lopez Village,  The Salish Sea Early Music Festival's first spring performance will feature three musicians performing music of the Renaissance era with period instruments.
