There are many wonderful parks on Lopez for day use as well as overnights camping.









County Parks (more info)

  Agate Beach County Park
Located at the end of MacKaye Harbor Rd.
  Blackie Brady County Park
On Hughes Bay
  Lopez Skate Park
Located next to the Community Center.
  Mud Bay County Park
(no fires or commercial use)
  Odlin County Park
Only a mile from the ferry, Odlin Park offers camping sites for RVs (no hookups) and walkin sites along a low-bank beach front. There is also a picnic area and play field.

Otis Perkins Day Use Park
Follow Bayshore Rd to the Spit

  Shark Reef Sanctuary
Located on the west side of Lopez
  Village Park
In the heart of the village - public restrooms and showers.
Park is maintained by the Chamber of Commerce, with some of the funding coming from Tour de Lopez

State Park (more info)

  Spencer Spit State Park
Beautiful site on the east side of Lopez. Has camping and a dump station, no RV hookups. Beach access and mooring buoys.


  Fisherman Bay Spit Preserve
Site of old homestead and wildlife preserve. Owned by the Land Bank
  Lopez Hill
400 acres of primitive land with trails and old second growth timber. Currently owned by DNR, and leased to the County for preservation and recreation.
  Weeks Wetland
A short walk down Weeks Point Way in the village

Going south on Mud Bay Rd, pass the Islandale store,
    Continue a mile or so and turn Rt onto Aleck Bay Rd
Go straight onto Watmough Head Rd (gravel road)
    After a short distance, the road makes a sharp left
Follow Watmough Rd until you go down a steep hill and come
      to the Watmough Bay sign with several large rocks at its base.
Turn Left into the driveway
Follow the driveway down to the parking area.
Walk through the gate and down the lane to the beach


 POINT COLVILLE (past Watmough Bay)
Leave your car in the Watmough Bay parking lot
Walk back to Watmough Head  Rd and turn Lt.
Walk approx. ½ mile until you see trees leaning in a TeePee
      formation above the road.
Turn Rt onto the trail. Follow to the shoreline.
The trail loops back to the entrance point.


CHADWICK HILL (cliffs above Watmough Bay)
From Mud Bay Rd going S., turn Rt. onto Aleck Bay Rd
Go straight onto Watmough Head Rd (gravel road).
After a short distance, the road makes a sharp left.
In approx. ¼ mile you will come to an open field on your left 
(There is a dirt pull-out with a green rope across it at the far edge)
Park along the shoulder of the road.
Walk north along the far edge of the meadow.
At the metal gate, walk around on the right. Continue up the trail.
In approx. 1 mile, the trail will fork.
Rt fork leads to overlook of Watmough Bay
Lt fork leads to northern edge of property – private property
        begins at the end of the wooded area.
Please do not enter private property.


From the Village, take Fisherman Bay Rd south
Turn Rt onto Davis Bay Rd, go past Center Church
Turn Rt onto Burt Rd
Follow to end at Shark Reef Rd
Turn Lt and park in parking area immediately to your right.
Bikes racks are available.
Follow trail to waters edge.


Going south on Mud Bay Rd, turn Rt onto Mackaye Harbor Rd.
Follow to Agate Beach.  Park in Agate Beach parking area.
Walk to your left (South) to the end of county road
Go through gate and up the gravel road to Bat and Ball Lane.
Turn right at the telephone pole  and go around the gate
Continue down the driveway past the second gate.
Stay to the left at the “Y” . Continue up the trail and through the trees.
 Please read & obey all posted regulations for use of the land.
